Track Maintenance Vehicles
The company started out as Lesmac Tools Ltd (in 1971), buying & selling engineering tools of all types from their base in Scotland.
In 1997 the company expanded into Lesmac (Fasteners) Ltd and moved to new premises in Glasgow.
Subsequently, they added a new division - Lesmac Fabrications offering metal fabrication service in sheet & thin tube metalwork and have the facilities and design expertise to fabricate stainless, aluminium and mild steel.
Lesmac Fabrications introduced the "Swift Rapid Response Trolley and Trailer", designed & built in their Glasgow factory.
Swift Rapid Response Trolley and Trailer
The four-man trolley has been designed to allow efficient and cost-effective movement of personnel and equipment from point of road access to the worksite.
The trolley & trailer have been designed to be easy to manhandle, with a low centre of gravity, built-in roll cage for operator safety, 4 spun wheels and all-round disc brakes (on the trolley), providing a low-maintenance track maintenance solution.
The maximum speed of the combo is 20 mph and the towing capacity is 750kg.
