The multi-character strings are generated each time you click onto the Trust's website and are destroyed by your web browser everytime you close the web browser. Please Note that just moving to another site within your web browser will not destroy the Cookie, you have to close your web broswer to completely destroy the Cookie.

In addition, many of the sites the Trust's website provides links to may use Cookies and they will, indivually, be applying the law and providing information for the web browser user (you)
